Worms and Deworming
Puppies get worms. Actually all dogs have worms to some degree. Puppies get worms through the placenta. We deworm, per protocol, while the mother is pregnant. Then when the puppies are 2 weeks of age we deworm using an all-natural dewormer. When they see the Vet at 6-8 weeks, they get the medicinal dewormer via the Vet. Sometimes, and actually most times, this causes diarrhea. It is important to keep the puppy hydrated if they have diarrhea. Please check the site for more information on how to deal with diarrhea. When in doubt, get to your Vet asap.

30 Day Health Guarantee
We guarantee the puppy’s health upon the first vet check which we require via contact to get the puppy to the vet within the first 30 days of getting the puppy.
If the puppy does not pass (Notwithstanding any of the foregoing, any evidence of trauma, incorrect feeding, abuse or neglect will void all guarantees.), we will take the puppy back and give you a puppy from our next litter or that of a trusted fellow breeder. The Vet must be licensed in the United States and I must be able to speak with the Vet. If either is unsatisfied, I will not issue a refund.
If you take the puppy to the Vet past the 30 day mark, we will not replace the puppy but we will take the puppy back.
We do not cover Vet Bills under any circumstance. Once you bring your puppy home, they are your responsibility and part of that responsibility is Vet care.
If the puppy gets sick because of a congenital defect, within 2 years, we will take the pup back and give you a pup of equal value from our next litter. Again, we don’t cover Vet bills.

2 Year Health Guarantee
If the puppy is found to have a life-threatening congenital birth defect within 2 years we will give you a puppy of equal value from our next litter. We do not give refunds! Should the puppy die within the first year, as a direct result of a congenital birth defect, and is thus verified by a necropsy performed by a licensed veterinarian (paid for by you), we will give you a puppy of equal value from our next litter. We do not give refunds. Notwithstanding any of the foregoing, any evidence of trauma, abuse or neglect will void all guarantees.

Noticeable Issues
If you or your Vet notice any issues, please report them to us within 24 hours of discovery. You will need to advise us at that time if you intend on returning the puppy or if the puppy has passed away, we will want (need) to speak with the Vet. It is essential to report any issues to us as biological hazards the puppy is exposed to may also threaten the rest of the litter or our other animals.

Should you opt to treat the puppy yourself, we will not reimburse costs of medications or vet visits, beyond that which is stated above. You affirm that you understand that puppies commonly contract various types of infections (especially parasites) through a variety of means including contact with other dogs or contaminated areas. You understand that a dog’s immune system may be affected by recent vaccinations, which may also predispose a dog to infection. You understand that a dog is a living organism that is daily exposed to stressors and potentially harmful microorganisms in the environment. Furthermore, a change in living environment, companions (animal or human), food, etc… such as when the puppy goes to a new home, may also cause a temporary high-stress situation that predisposes the puppy to illness. You understand all these risks and are willing to accept full responsibility for the puppy, in the condition it is in on the day you pick it up, and for any health problems that may arise in the near or distant future.

If any legal action is commenced by you or us, that involves any aspect of this contract or the adoption of the Dog referred to herein, the place of venue for such action shall be none other than Pima County, Arizona, except in the case of an appeal. You hereby assent to personal jurisdiction within such venue, regardless of your place of residence, and you agree that any judgment obtained within Pima County, Arizona is enforceable within the jurisdiction in which you reside, to the same degree as if obtained within the jurisdiction of your residence. Only Arizona State law is enforceable with any legal action by you or us in conjunction with this contract. You may enter into this contract by reviewing an online version of it and affirming by email, with language to the effect that you have reviewed it and agree to its terms. A facsimile or digital signature shall also be accepted as an original signature.

Breeder will always retain the right to relinquish the dog if the dog is deemed to be in an unhealthy environment. No purchase or vet fees will be returned.
No refunds are ever given, under any circumstance, unless a licensed US Vet deems the puppy was unfit for sale. I must be able to speak with the Vet on the phone or in person. Should you choose to put the puppy down, without my ability to speak with the Vet or pick up the live puppy myself, no second puppy will be given. No Vet bills are ever paid back under any circumstance.
